I got this email:

My father passed away in may. He was a huge cactus collector. Any suggestions on where we can donate them to? They range from 1ft tall to 10 ft tall. Thank you

The collection is in the Chicago area and the person reports that their mother is 78 and can not continue to care for these plants. They have apparently contacted everyone they could think of and nobody has been willing to take the plants. It would be great if we could find a home for these.

If you or anyone you know is able to get these plants and enjoy them, please let me know and I'll connect you with the owner!

I live in NWI about 30 minute drive from Chicago. I used to live on the South side and I know my way around there really well. Taken a fancy to a cactus collection this year really looking forward to building onto it more. With nothing more than half a foot tall yet this would stunt my collection and I would be more than happy to work with you! They would be in good hands.

Chad,

When you get them home, I hope you post photos. I would love to see them.
