Hi there, I have a couple of plants that I need help identifying. I see
so many that look similar, but I'm just not sure.
Thank you so much,
Jan

Hi Jan: I don't know anything about succulents but they sure are pretty little plants you have there! Hopefully someone will come along shortly and be able to give you an exact ID.

They both look to be different types of Graptopetalum. http://garden.org/plants/brows...
Top photo looks like Graptopetalum paraguayense. When you go to the above link you can see a difference in the leaves. Depending on season and growing condition, color can differ somewhat. Below photos are two months apart. There are a number of graptopetalum.

Your Echeveria are beautiful Stanley. The photos are so good you can do a great comparison between the Echeveria and Graptopetalum leaves. Thumbs up

Sue, do you have an idea of which Graptopetalum the second photo might be?

No I don't. It could also be a cross, maybe a X Graptoveria

The second one looks much like "x Graptoveria 'Vera Higgins'" on YuccaDo, but they are not certain of the name. The leaves looked to me thicker and more rounded than X Graptoveria paraguayense x ciliata, their description says what I thought.

http://www.yuccado.com/x-grapt...

Someone who purchased this plant from YuccaDo posted on a forum, the respondent said this: "It looks to me more like an xEchisedum or an xGraptosedum. I have both types, and they are hardier than xGraptoverias."

http://www.cloudforest.com/nor...

Searching XGraptosedum, I came across Graptosedum 'Vera Higgins' ! This looks different.

Graptosedum 'Vera Higgins' looks different to the above on SM Growers..

http://www.smgrowers.com/produ...

Going back to search for XGraptosedum, I came across a possible match. XGraptosedum Francesco Baldi

And depending on the exposure to sun and heat, they can change quite a bit in color!
