|I have a question about watermelon. I have about 4 on the vine that look great. Now, Every time a new watermelon starts, it turned black and is dead. These are about a tennis ball size. It really is confusing because my larger melons are doing great.|

|This happens to my zucchini too. I'm pretty sure it's a pollination issue. Last year I had cucumber beetles (none so far this year, knock on wood) that made the fruit rot too. I would check for bugs first, especially if the plant has leaf damage. If not, it's probably pollination. I've been told that planting borage brings all the bees to the yard.

|Watermelons produce, one or two mellons per vine. That is your standard watermelon. I'm gonna guess the smaller varities, would produce 3 or 4.
Do you have smaller variety?
Also. How many plants ?
Any bugs ?
Some, hand pollinating may be in order.
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.
