I live on the east coast of Florida about half way down the State. Vero Beach. An hour south of Cape Canaveral. Attached is a photo of my front porch area. It faces west. I am looking for ideas about what to plant in this area, maybe that could add a little color. I prefer something permanent so I do not have to keep replanting.

Thanks

My suggestion: Cordyline, Crotons and Bromeliads and replacing the mulch with gravel and on the right a stoloniferous type Bromeliads spilling from a side turned pot. Pot can be plain or fancy.

If a flowering type plant is wanted ditch the Crotons and use dwarf Ixora.
