My dahlias are starting to come on... initial blooms are good, but I think next months blooms will be better:)

Some of my mums are blooming, but I think next month will be better as well.

I got Purplicious in trade last year, it seemed a pretty normal plant in terms of height etc. This year I planted 3 of them, they are all quite short (under 3ft.) and very bushy.

How is it growing for you?

For me it bloomed early and kept going all season. It is shorter than most of the dahlias around it, and I think I need to place it differently next year. My only complaint is the stems are short, so it hasnt been a great cutting flower for me. Really nice purple though!
