I am noticing some mushrooms at the back of my yard, I am wondering if anyone know what species of mushroom that is and if it is poisonous to pet.
Any advice on how to get rid of mushroom problem in the lawn is appreciated.

Welcome!

Do the mushrooms form circles in the lawn (fairy ring?)

I'm going to put in a request to move your question to the Fungi Forum for identification.

It does not form a circle. It's just here and there.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Looks like a marasmius, and those aren't going to have enough weight to poison a pet, unless there's a whole stand of them it grazes

uat750035, I tend to agree with Ape_Gobnlin and his identification. Another possibility is the so-called "Magic Mushroom" but I think Ape_Goblin nailed it. I wouldn't eat it anyway. Have to be very careful with "veiled gill" mushrooms!
