Had to pick the peaches before the birds beat me to it. Got a pretty good crop, now the canning begins. Smiling

Those look lovely, Tom. Peaches have been very good here this year....I'll be sad when the season comes to an end soon. Have gotten some lovely peaches from our local farmers market--just made peach cobbler last night.

I have been buying peaches for a quite a few weeks, but these sure are better then the ones you buy. Smiling Hoping to make a pie by the weekend, but have a lot of planting to do yet in the gardens, and of course the weeds! And the Tomatoes are just starting to come on, so I'll be canning tomatoes soon too.

I canned 8 pints of Peach Butter today, and 7 quarts of peach halves. The rest need to ripen a bit more. Made a Cobbler yesterday. I also shared some with friends.

Today I canned another 7 quarts of peach halves, and made a peach pie. They are nearly all ripe now and not many left. Next up will be canning tomatoes.

I tried grilling some peaches today, wow are they ever great that way. Brushed them with a mixture of Honey, Cinnamon, Butter and Brandy. Just kept turning them over and brushing more of the glaze on them and grilled them until they were softened. Ate them with ice cream. Sticking tongue out

Tom, those grilled peaches sound delicious -- I've seen the "TV chefs" do that (maybe you can get your own show?) Thumbs up

Rolling on the floor laughing Ya, I can be the new Emeral Hilarious! I watched a couple youtube videos to see how they did it, and added some of my own twists to it. It's really quite easy, and oh so good!
