Plant ID forum: Identification please. Is it a weed or a beautiful red flowering plant?

The photo shows the end result of a plant but I do not know what it is. It could be a weed. It "binds" itself round other plants and seems to smother them but its flower is beautiful and very red. I am new to this garden having just moved house. The red flower also has a trumpet on it. Quite spectacular.
Please help me identify this.

It's a type of nasturtium with lovely red flowers and these very interesting berries. Tropaeolum speciosum.

I agree Tropaeolum speciosum. Please consider adding your pics to the database. There are only 2 and none are of the berries.
