Pretty. I do like the 'Bishop' series with the dark foliage and dark flowers; deep gold, dark red, etc.

Frank, the stats you post on your dahlias, are they from your own database? Are they a cut and paste or do you have to hand type each one? Doesn't seem likely. I have been trying to visualize what sort of spreadsheet or database (Access) would produce a line of data like you show. I could probably do so by concatenating data fields directly from my main table in Access. Just curious. Being a database nut. lol

Yes, the stats are from my spreadsheet.

I use a google spread sheet, here is the the cell that I post...

=JOIN(char(10)&char(10),JOIN(", ",B11,YEAR(TODAY()),C11,D11,E11,CONCATENATE("USDA Hardiness Zone ",SUBSTITUTE(F11,"Z","")),G11,CONCATENATE("Bloom Month ",H11),CONCATENATE("In Garden Bed ",K11," for ",M11,". ")),Z11,CONCATENATE(" #",INDEX(SPLIT(B11," "),1)," #",SUBSTITUTE(REGEXEXTRACT(C11,"\[(.+)\]")," ","")),CONCATENATE(" https://www.flickr.com/search/... ","%20")))

here'e one entry of my spreadsheet

I would love that. I used to develop fairly complex formulae until I switched to Access. I think the formulae are more fun. Certainly a challenge to build and maintain.

My email is [email protected]. I don't think you can attach things to tree mails here.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Frank, I just saw your Japanese Bayberry bush pictures. What a gorgeous plant. And it says zone four. I think it would do well here as I am in a microclimate. We pretty much never see below -23 or so.
