I ran across this by total accident and was astonished at how many layers of clothing people used to wear at once. If you look to the side on the page you'll also see other videos of getting dressed in different centuries. I must say I'm totally delighted that dressing has become so much simpler.

I'd have never made it back then! I'd die from heat stroke. I guess that type of dress was required in the drafty castles.

Indeed! It seems we wore a lot more clothes up until around the 1930s.
