I got this little daylily this spring and it was named LITTLE DARLING. There is no picture of this cultivar in the data base and I have been unable to verify that this color is correct. The stats are no help as this is the first season in my garden so not enough time to be established. The color description is flesh pink. Does anyone else grow this cultivar?

I wonder if it is actually 'Baby Darling' not 'Little Darling'. I haven't grown either but it looks a lot like some pictures of "BABY DARLING" that I have seen.

I am not sure but I think Little Darling is very pale pink, although you are in a colder Northern Climate so the colour will be more saturated in your garden than in hotter climates.

It is very pretty regardless--Lucky you!

I don't have a photo of my Baby Darling, but mine doesn't have as obvious an eye zone as yours, although that could very well be a zone difference. The color is right though. Little darling seems to be flesh pink with no eye zone though, so I don't think that is what you have.

It is a lovely little daylily, but it doesn't seem to match the description for Little Darling. I think Nikki may have identified it Thumbs up . It looks a lot like the photos for Baby Darling in the database and the description of purple with a deeper eyezone seems to match.

What about the other stats for Baby Darling?

This is my picture of BABY DARLING. It is not the same bloom as Little Darling. The stamens are a different color. Thus these two blooms are not the same. I know the description of Little Darling is a paler pink but often, descriptions are wrong. That is why I am inquiring if anyone on here grows it.

Thanks, all, for your input. I guess I will need to wait until next year to check out the other stats for each of these little ones. I like them both so they will continue to have space here Smiling

I wish I could help, but I don't grow either one. I hope you can eventually sort it out. Crossing Fingers!
