I believe this should be attributed to Minnie Aumonier, although her actual quote is slightly different: "There is always music amongst the trees of the garden but the heart must be very quiet to hear it."

I hadn't heard this quote before, but curiously each one of my flower garden beds have a musical name: one is called Prelude, other Scherzo, other Ballade, and so on. Some have Baroque names other more modern. The plantings follow the structure of that musical form. I search for music deliberately in my garden...not always do I achieve it though... Sighing! I wonder if I got my spirit well tuned then... D'Oh! This search keep me going.

Shrug! I'm not sure how Sheila's post about mosaic's, from Sept. 2, 2017 got associated with the inspirational photo for today, Sept. 2, 2018 but @Jon @Dave or @Trish may be able to answer.

I agree though ... Beautiful inspiration and really beautiful mosaic's as well! Lovey dubby

Garden.org Admin

Shelia posted these photos to this inspiration last year.
I actually can't move threads from inspirations (or anywhere from the database, actually) to the forums. They live in seperate areas in the code and can't be relocated.
