My sister grows her coleus from seeds every year and is looking for the ruffly ones. I have done a search and only found one on Amazon that sale the ruffle coleus seeds and they have a bad review,

Does anyone have a good site that sell the ruffle coleus seeds?. They have the look of the undersea series, or the look of fingers. I see them called carefree sometime.

Most Coleus cultivars can only be reliably reproduced via cuttings.

@purpleinopp
Maybe I was not clear. She is not looking for a specific named colus

They sell Kong.....You get a mix of a series that are the size and shape of "Kong"

The look I am looking for would have the inky finger, Kiwi Fern look. I have seen it listed as "Carefree Collection"

I have only found one on Amazon that sale the Jewel Collection but the review is so bad I do not want to send her that link.

OK. If you find it is possible to grow the ones you seek from seed, please let us know. I haven't looked into this for a few yrs.

My sister will have to send me pics. I can only do winter sowing. I have never been able to grow seeds indoors. You know I am the one that will not water plants indoors. Seeds are dead in my care.

My Sister has one of her garden that she grows entirely from annual seeds every year. She is planning and buying seeds now.

I know the frustration. Only the most rebellious (and unknown-to-me) seeds will sprout in my presence. One in a million sprouts in my garden is a keeper, no matter how many seeds I buy & sling/bury/scatter/plant/sow around. I've always had too many "house plants" to try to start seeds inside, probably for the best, or I'd be relating to this face thing often:
Grumbling

I don't usually use the face things but that one says what needs to be conveyed there. LOL!

Cinta, that is a good seed company, and I am disappointed that they no longer ship to Canada.
I grow coleus from seed quite often, and they work out well.
