Yesterday I posted a photo of the Hemerocallis middendorffii blossom that was a late rebloomer. It was the second day of this first rebloom. (They don't usually look so pristine on their second day!)

At Riverview, in Robson, from 1986 to 2012, I had two enormous clumps of this wonderful early spring bloomer, which would give an occasional repeat blossom in the fall.
Now, 10 miles south of there, at a higher elevation, I didn't think I would see any reblooms, but was surprised to see two stalks this September. Thumb of 2017-09-08/HemNorth/b09005 On the left is yesterday's bloom, which still looks quite fresh. On the right is the second bloom on the first stalk.
From my previous photos in the Robson garden, I thought there was no branching, but now I see on yesterday's bloom, that there is a slight branching at the top of the stalk. Thumb of 2017-09-08/HemNorth/89fc17
And here is today's blossom on the first stalk. Thumb of 2017-09-08/HemNorth/bfdafe I think this plant is a winner.

So good to see some of us still have blooms. I'm always amazed at the way daylilies can behave. Big Kiss was an early/mid bloomer here and Orchid Corsage would still be trying to bloom if I hadn't sold it out of the garden a few years ago to make room, it was always one of the last blooming. Chilly 47 this morning, but it warmed up into the mid 60's by noon. A quick walk around the beds tonight gave me a couple of images.

Desire of Nations, not as pretty as it was when the temps were warmer but pretty darn good for Sept. in Vermont.

Albion Moonlight, wonderful crepe texture on this one. Wish it bloomed earlier though. I always forget to check it when little is blooming at the end of the season.

and a couple random garden images....
The colors of zinnia are amazing. Imagine if we could get colors like this in daylilies without using photoshop Whistling

Before Night Falls was blooming in our garden yesterday, it has sent up scapes three times this year. Love all the pictures of the daylily blooms. I look at everyones blooms, but I am bad about not posting! I live in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Dan

Very nice, Raven!
I still have a few blooming today. Janice Brown has her last two blooms open and Cherry Cheeks has her last bloom. Rosy Returns and Little Wine Cup are reblooming and still have buds left to open. There are still buds left to go on Dragons Eye and Anglican Church.

I just came across this notice that Ctdaylily has been approved to ship to Europe and thought some might be interested. I have never purchased plants from Ctdaylily, but there are nine recommendations for it in the green pages.

Wow, those are just gorgeous! Love the first three the best! Little Mucho Minto looks very nice! Can't wait for mine to bloom next year since they were just planted.

@kidfishing Terry, are the Little MM fans very small?

We grow lots of miniatures and LMM is medium sized among them. It has rebloomed all 3 years that we have had it. It rarely shows eye color for us but I am using it quite a bit for hybridizing. I do like the long bloom time and rebloom.
