Hi, first time poster here!

I have 14 hibiscus plants doing great and blooming profusely even though they have a light aphid problem.. One of the hibiscus is putting off orange looking blooms (all the others are red) and they won't fully open.. They just sit there for a week like they do in the picture.. I was walking through lowe's yesterday and noticed several more on the plant tables like that with half open blooms.. Is it the variety or what? Stumped! Thanks for any help!

I've never seen that either. I am guessing it's a just a flower style? Maybe someone who is more sure will chime in. It looks pretty though. Even if it turns out to not supposed to look like that.

I haven't seen that happen either, but I do see lots of bugs on your plants. I can't quite tell but they might be whiteflies and aphids. The blooms look like they might be being damaged by them. I hope someone else will be familiar with this.

I have a few hibisus plants. One of them has yellow leaves. I noticed some white flies on some leaves and sprayed the plant with 1/2 Teaspoon of Dawn liquid dish detergent and water. The next day I saw a few aphids. Sprayed again. Now the leaves are turning yellow and falling off. Any suggestions? It is also blooming like crazy. Thank You!
