Got two 20 foot palms in my backyard. Was thinking of replacing sprinkler heads with drippers but concerned I wont be giving them enough water. Is a drip system viable for mature palms or should I follow the old adage of if it ain't broke don't fix it and just leave the sprinklers..

Do you know the palm variety? Were they recently installed or are they established?

Hi ScotTi, they are Pygmy Palms and either a King or Queen palm. Quite frankly, I can never tell the difference between Q/K. They are established and have been there for at least 10 years.
