Need help identifying...vine with black shiny berries about the size of a blue berry. Unripe ones are light green then turn pink to dark pink before turning black. We are in South East Texas. Each berry has 3 large seeds inside. Thank you

I agree it looks like pepper vine. Get rid of it as fast as possible or you will be fighting it forever. (That's just my opinion; others may love the stuff.)

Peppervine is related to grapes...
Those berries are edible..
I eat them...

So... While peppervine is an aggressive growing vine.... It's not all bad...
And...
It is native, the birds aren't going to get sick from it, like they do from those noxious exotics.

Thank you so much for the responses. It truly is aggressive as it is along all the fence lines of our property. Tons of berries so it is interesting to know they are edible. Thank You!
