I dug up a hibiscus from an outdoor garden because we were moving and I wanted to try and take it with me. I wasn't able to take the full plant because it was so large and i couldn't dig it all up, it was too hard. I was able to get to stems that were pretty thick. I had to pot them in a planter pot but they don't look so good. the leaves are already wilted and look to be dead. Any help on how i can save this precious plant. I don't know what to do. Thank you!

I moved 3 in late July - early August, and they looked dead within the week! I cut them all back to the ground, kept them watered daily and now I have new growth on all of them. Good luck!
