Hello, I live in upstate New York, County. While walking in my back yard the other day, i came across an odd plant. It was a single stalk, with a cluster of red berries on the end. After doing some research on the net, the closest thing possible is a Arum Maculatum plant, but I cannot find that they grow in my area. Any ideas?

Wondering if its not a Jack in the Pulpit Arisaema triphyllum which would probably grow in your area. Any pics

I don't have a picture but after looking it up , it looks just like a Jack in the pulpit. Thank you.
