There are small little plants growing in my pothos house plant which I only got about a month ago. They are a stem with two leaves on the top. Is this part of the plant or weeds that somehow got in here and I should pull?

Welcome!

I doubt they are pothos. They are seeds that were in the potting soil. Its hard to say if they are weeds or something you might want without letting them get a little bigger and grow secondary leaves.

Carly - Those are not Pothos seedlings and are likely to be what we call weeds. What that tells me is that the soil used here is non-sterile and may well be contaminated with other less desirable things, such as mushrooms, fungus gnat larvae, and other pests. Indoor potted plants are best potted in sterile soilless potting mixes compose primarily of peat moss, coir, and perlite.
