Leaves so often take a back seat to the more showy and colorful flowering blooms and fruits. While we wait for spring to arrive, let's take a look at leaves as the star attraction.

We have a Locust tree that is a messy tree all over our yard. My husband wants to keep it, but it need to just go. How can an old lady (that's me) make the tree die without him knowing that I did it? I really am not joking but very, very serious.

Next year: there are huge African grass clumps one on each side of the driveway as you come in ( or try to go out) and you cannot see what is coming down the street. The gardening outfit we use said it would cost $2,300 to get a back hoe to take it out. Isn't there some way to kill each huge clump and then have someone try to dig out smaller portions of the clump. I know it will be backbreaking work, but it's cheaper than $2,300. Please help.
