It seems that some of our members have taken notice of the connection between the Sept. NARR and the new Ideas Forum.

Thanks to the generosity of several of these really nice people, I can now offer 30 acorns (!) to each of the next 11 people (!) who post a NEW idea to the new Ideas Forum. https://garden.org/forums/view...

Please check the ideas already posted there to make sure you are posting something new and original. And no appropriation of old ideas from the previous Ideas section, of course!

It doesn't matter if you received acorns from my previous offer. But if you post more than two new ideas, I might ask you to wait on the third one to see if others post for acorns.

And of course, I hope that the acorns will be spent on NARR tickets! If you notice any new members, please point them here so that they can participate in their very first NARR.

As before, once your idea is posted, please reply to this thread so that I'll know to send you your acorns.

And thank you so much to Marilyn, and to some anonymous donors for donating acorns and making this so much fun! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Acorn Acorn Acorn

You posted two connected to my previous offer. This is your first post for this offer so you get 30 acorns! Hurray!

Ok. I did it. I posted an idea. It's 'When you really want a rain barrel but you really can't afford it'.

I'm sure I've mentioned it in a post somewhere. But it's totally my own harebrained idea.

But wait! I don't know if I hit 'enter' twice or what? Didn't mean to post it twice. Since I don't know how to actually delete one, I'm afraid there's going to be a hole in the thread.

If I could change the title, I'd add another idea. @dave, is there a way to completely delete the duplicate post? I was able to delete the guts of the post, but the title remains.

Sorry y'all. Guess I deserve a whop upside my head. And probably no more acorns.

Oh, you definitely don't deserve a whop, and definitely do deserve acorns! And so you get no whop, and 30 acorns!

To get rid of the duplicate, scroll to the bottom of the one you want to remove, where all the blue links are and click Suggest a Change. You'll know what to do after that.

Love the idea!
