We have a ligustrum that is being devoured by some sort of disease. We have not been able to find anyone who can tell us what is attacking our bush. I was hoping that someone can help us.

Thank you

The fragrance of Ligustrum reminds me of my youth. I feel bad for you having this problem.

It could be a disease or an insect infestation. I could not find anything about a disease causing the plant to look as yours does, but this link tells about the Ligustrum weevil and says the effects are 'bunchy growth and tattered appearance".

Hope someone more knowledgeable can contribute a better answer for you. Thumbs up

My first thought was Aster Yellows. Fasciation can make some plants look like that. A virus of some kind, IMHO.
