My Nikon Coolpix L110 is toast. I would like to hear which cameras many of you have had success with. I need something simple, as automatic as I can get.

When I accidentally dropped my digital camera and broke it a couple of years ago, I didn't replace it. I use the camera on my smart phone (Samsung S6). I usually put it in my back pocket when I'm puttering around outside so I'll have it handy if I need it.

Or if you prefer, here's one I found on ebay:

I've been impressed with the quality of my daughter's Samsung phone pictures--are they good with close-ups of flowers?
