I got this little plant at Walmart, it didn't say what it was. It suffered alot of damage earlier this year being outside in the rainy weather too long. I cut away the dead areas but it normally has pointed leaves. It's leaves are incredibly rigid, almost like plastic. And their edges are serrated. Could someone please tell me what it is?

You have a Cryptanthus bivitatus. Let soil dry completely between waters. You are getting new plants forming in the center now and when a little larger remove and root in soil.

I agree, your plant is Earth Star (Cryptanthus bivittatus)
