I know most of you are too far away, however, I thought I'd let everyone know anyway.

Fred Manning (Spunky1 on here for any newbies) will be giving a presentation at the Pensacola Daylily Club on Monday, Jan. 9th. (Pensacola, FL)

He will also be doing his presentation for the Mobile club on Jan. 22nd. (Mobile, AL)

If anyone will be in the area and is interested in seeing Fred do his thing, you can Tree mail either me or Fred for more info.

A couple of month's early for me. My sister and I are coming to Pensacola near the first of April. How far away does Fred live and you Tink?

If your coming to Pensacola you will be less than 30 minutes from either of us. Lillian Alabama is a suburb of Pensacola.

I live in Milton, FL which is less than 30 min. from Pensacola. Where I have my daylilies is Cantonment, FL which is about 5 minutes away (depending on where you are in Pensacola).

Ok that is great. We are meeting my oldest which is working there for the week. I am not positive which area we will be in yet. I have vacationed at Navarre Beach but that was the closest to Pensacola.

Will there be blooms to see that early?

There are some blooms, but peak is about the middle of May.

So Fred did a bang up job as usual!!!! He has some really nice seedlings that most of you have seen him post on here. There may be a few that he hasn't posted. He brought some really nice auction plants and door prize plants as well. I get to see it all over again on the 22nd since I belong to both of the clubs.
