I received 5 fans of Best of Friends from Karen (kousa) in August 2016. It did not bloom that year, but did bloom in 2017. Below are some photos. One photo shows it's stats when it first bloomed for me.

Stats:

June morning bloom:

Afternoon bloom:

It seems to be rust resistant, has a nice sized bloom at 6", and I like the pink color. The bloom color here in the south was not as dark as gardeners up north had. I used it for hybridizing, so it will be interesting to see what it's children will look like.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us.
