I am not a breeder yet, so will stick to Bartzella. Picture looks good though.

I was surprised to see it being offered because I did not see it in the beginning of the year. Although I resisted not getting Sunny Boy, I could not resist adding Pluto Tree Peony to my order. I am so excited about Pluto. The pics of it are so gorgeous! I also like the fact that Adelman Peonies only sells own root tree peonies.

Interesting... Very recent addition. I visited both places (Adelman and ilvepeonies) not long ago and there was no Sunny Boy. I wonder if they received roots from somewhere...

Adelman's Orphan was a $30 P.tenuifolia.rosea normally selling for about $150 from the experts in species peonies, HSFF. It turned out to be a very nice, unusual tenuifolia hybrid but not the species rosea. Some of these members, including myself, jumped on the bargain price. My wife ran my roots through the washing machine and ruined most of them. I had wrapped it in a wet towel after digging and she washed the towel without shaking it out. I sent a root with one eye in one of my gift boxes but I don't recall which one. It is worth nursing along as it adds a nice deep rose single flower to the regular fern leafs.

This is the only picture I have left of AO. Note the color.

The leaves look very different than those of P.tenuifolia.rosea, the flower maybe is similar, not sure about the color, I have never seen any of these two in person. Very nice flower and plant in total Lovey dubby

AO is my favorite fernleaf hybrid, glad I got it even if it was a mis-id'ed root from the seller. They realized it before we did and sent refunds for the root

Here is a photo of my Adelmans orphan. You can see by my fingers how small the bloom is. The foliage is pretty.
