Welcome!

Your plant looks like a variety of Dumb Cane (Dieffenbachia seguine)

Yellowing leaves can be due to over watering or under watering. I'm not sure what your growing conditions are (light, temperature, etc.) and I can't see the soil in the pot to see how wet it might be staying but I'd go a bit lighter on the watering at this time of year. Give it bright light but no direct sunlight and keep it out of drafts.

It's been many years since I've grown Dieffenbachia so hopefully someone who currently grows them will be along soon to offer advice.

Thanks!

Soil is a little damp. Not sure if you can see it on a picture.

Mostly keeping it in the room. Could have been hot on an occasion. Could have been in a draft
