I hope Duane will give us a good critique of The Heft. My husband has had one back operation and since he is the guy who does all the digging around here, I am wondering if this tool is something we should have.

I agree. There are days I can't stand up straight after working in the yard all day. Would be good to know if it helps the old back!

I note that this tool is produced both in the US and Canada. Is there any reason our Canadian members could not 'win' this in your raffles?

The vendors decide what countries their prizes are being offered to.

Have any of them enlarged their scope to outside the US? Just curious. Seems some things would lend themselves to international prizes better than others. I get that plant materials themselves are problematic.

I used the heft today and it's a big thumbs up from me. It is a lot easier on my back. And I do have back issues. I've had back surgery a couple of years ago. Definitely worth it as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you, Duane, good to hear this tool is probably worthwhile for gardeners, especially for those who are dealing with back issues.

So nice to hear a review. It sounds like it could be a big help to folks with back problems.
