Hello, Can anyone help me with the black spots on my banana tree plant, don't know if its ok or bad. It is a Musa Dwarf Cavendish that I got in April this year, have 2 plants doing same thing, is not spread to leaves, seems healthy otherwise, have never been outside yet. Thank you!!!

Welcome!

Does the black rub off?

My first thoughts would be aphids, but I'm wondering if it isnt some type of fungus. When did you first start to notice and are the other plants 2 banana's also?? I'm sure someone here will have an answer. If it does rub off like Daisy asked I would definitely say it was aphids

No it doesn't, it like it's part of the plant. Thought might be mold or fungus but now not so sure. Thank You!
