I recently transplanted a dozen or so yucca plants to my yard. I was wondering if it is ok to cut off the sharp tips to make them safer for pets?

Yes, its okay. I've done it myself when I had small clumsy children. Now I have adult clumsy children - they are on their own. Smiling
