Hello,
I've had this plant for over a year now and didn't know what it was until it flowered. I thought it was a type of violet at first. It presents a gloxinia like flower that is white with tiny pink/red spot in the throat.

Hi finster, Welcome!

I agree with Janine and Deborah, your plant looks to be Lace Flower (Alsobia dianthiflora) and what a beautiful, healthy specimen! Great growing! Thumbs up I hope you will consider uploading your lovely photo to our database. Just click on the blue link and on the left side of the page, click where it says Upload a photo.
