Found this beauty in the house today and can't seem to find anything matching it online. He can definitely fly (flew at us from the window) but moves fairly slowly.
Am in the south-east of the UK but I'm wondering if its a non-native species?

Any help appreciated!

Welcome!

Your picture isn't quite sharp enough for a good comparison, but does it have the zig-zag marks like this one?

Thank You!

Ah you may have solved it there!
It looked identical in markings to the image of the adult (sussex), the only difference being that the back of the abdomen was slightly more intricate.
Thank you so much!

We must have been pretty lucky then considering its a type of "stink-bug", thankfully he's back outside now!
Fingers crossed we don't get any more come in to hibernate!!

leaf footed bug. There a sucking bug. Carry a disease , that will kill your vegetables.
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.

If it's the one in the link I gave, Philip, which isn't certain because the picture isn't clear enough, it feeds on coniferous trees. Yes it is a leaf-footed bug but they don't all feed on vegetables, there are different species.
