I was trying to tag a group of 6 plants at once with leaf features using the multiple plant update tool, but I noticed a different head count using that method, so I stopped. Is there a reason for the discrepancy (2 vs. 6)? Just trying to figure out how the different parts work. Any feedback would be welcome.

Four of them have intraspecific names and wouldn't be covered by a simple "Echeveria setosa."

Zuzu is right, the mass update tool is looking for exact matches, while the general search engine is much more generous with what it finds.
