Wait! You said Ontario and I assumed Canada. But obviously, Southern CA as this plant is hardy in Zones 10 - 11. Greene, you aren't getting one either... Rolling on the floor laughing

Kind of difficult, compared to a lot of other perennials-sold-as-annuals, to keep happy if brought inside for winter, but not an annual. Worth a try if desired.

I do bring in my 'Mona Lavender' every fall. Give it a little direct sun and cut back on the watering but don't let it dry out completely. Trim it up in the early spring and start watering it again before setting it back outside when temps start warming up. I've had the same plant for about 5 years. As a potted plant it blooms later outdoors but I guess you could keep it blooming by deadheading, giving it more sun/light and more water.
