Ask a Question forum: Mysterious bumps and sores on my indoor schefflera + rubber plant

Hello!

I'm having some trouble with my big schefflera, my rubber tree and my dwarf schefflera. I can't tell if it's scale, or some other pest, or an infection.

I've attached a bit of a picture book hopefully showing what's going on.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

They all look healthy to me. I think the "bumps" are just part of the maturing process .

I agree its just aging of the stem.

Thanks guys! I get a little paranoid because I lost about 10 of my larger plants a few years ago to something unidentified and bumpy.
