|So the story here is pretty simple. I have a mischievous Italian Greyhound who gets into any and everything he can. This week it was my Ponytail Palm. I really would just like to know if its a goner or if I should wait for its recovery abilities to kick in? Before the massacre it was what I believe to be a healthy plant. The core of the plant is pretty much gone. Thank you for the help in advance.

|Don't give up hope. It should branch below the damage.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
