Last year by some lucky chance this blueberry bush didnt die sitting in my bedroom on a stand with no lighting directed for him. Im know he still receive a small amount from my Window. I often close shut my curtains. I do have plants always growing in my Bedroom. Lol yep I said it. My bedroom has looked like a small nursery a few timesπŸ˜† lol.
Anyways last year I was told the blueberry bush should have been placed in ground to go dormant for winter but that had not been done and I couldnt provide a place above freezing for the winter or the correct environment he was supposed to be in. So I just took him inside n placed him in the bay window until Christmas, then my BR and when early spring came he began to grow leaves!! I was so excited to see he made it. He grew very well all summer. Ill add a pic of him as of today. He didnt produce berries I didnt expect him to?? Should it this year????
But it looks pretty healthy I think. It gets small branhes alot that often die off. I believe you will be able to see some in pic. Idk if thats normal.
My big question is.. what to do with him this year? Should I take him inside again? Or would he live out on the deck this year????

Your gonna need at least a 5 or 10 gallon bucket, if you want any berries.
I belive berries grow on last years growth.
I know they need a chill period.
They grow them hear, and it gets down to 18 % f.
How low of temps they can take. I dont know. You would be best to grow in ground. I could tell you ways to protect it.
If you keep it in pot, your biggest consern, will be keeping soil from freezing.
