I have two different plants in an office environment that have some discoloration. See photos attached.

Photos of single leaves are not usually helpful in diagnosing plant problems. Photos that show the entire plant, including its pot, are more helpful.

If your local tap water is on the hard side, switch to distilled or filtered water as hard water can cause brown leaf spots.

The second leaf looks stippled, usually a sign of spider mite activity.
