My mango sprouted and started growing successfully, however the seed it grew from started rotting (on the far end, away from the stem). What should I do? Should I douse it in diluted peroxide, or try to remove the infected area, or...? (I tried to move dirt away from it so it would dry up, but that doesn't seem to help)

Try coating the dying end of the seed with cinnamon.
