I recently planted (3 or 4 days ago) approximately twenty salvia transylvanica 'Blue Cloud' seeds. This is my first time planting any seeds and I'm looking for suggestions on how I can best care for and foster the growth of these plants (assuming they grow at all)
I live in zone 9, which is supposedly acceptable according to a couple of sources for these plants. I placed them in 'miracle gro potting mix' and they have western exposure. It has been rainy and dark for a couple of days so unfortunately the soil still hasn't dried out. I have a triple meter to assess moisture, acidity/alkalinity, and sunlight.
What should I be doing in terms of frequency/amount of watering, light exposure, temperature and when should I know whether or not I have killed the seeds.
