It’s been growing on garage, or should I say destroying my garage for a few years and I was curious what type of vine/ ivy this was. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Looks like English ivy to me. Perhaps compare to the photos in our database:

English Ivy (Hedera helix)

It can be very invasive in some areas. It has taken over the parks in the Pacific NW, girdling trees and causing lots of damage. In other areas, it is more well behaved. Beware.
