|Hi, I'm new to this forum but I am looking for any and all help at this point. My mom gave me 2 babies off of a French lilac bush was planted by my great great great great grandmother in Michigan. Now I live in coastal North Carolina. How on earth am I not going to kill these plants!?

|Lilacs are tough plants. They do seem to need cold weather to bloom well but I would be surprised if they could not live in coastal NC.

|My mom had lilac bushes as hedges in Southern California. I only ever saw a couple of blooms once, but the plants thrived.
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
