I have a medium-sized potted jade that used to life inside in a south-facing window. A few months ago I transitioned it outside into a mostly shady area on my northern-facing porch. It has grown rapidly in this time, so I think it loves being outside Smiling My question is - should I bring it in for the winter, even here in Los Angeles? If so, when is the ideal time to do so? Or will it be happy in the Southern California year round? The attached photograph is from prior to the outdoor move.

I live in southeast Texas zone 9a. I have had two of these plants for about 6 years. I leave them outside unless there is an extended freeze warning which is rare in my area. They seem to be perfectly happy.

Jades are hardy in Zones 9-11, so it should be fine outside all winter in LA. (Lucky you!)
