My Japanese Anemone - was flowering beautifully but -- this morning this is what I saw - buds are okay - all the blooms -- gone -- looked on the ground and saw only a few petals that dropped yesterday ... totally stumped.

Looking closely at the photograph, I think your anemone flowers have been eaten . Do you have deer or other roaming animals nearby?
