Would like to know what it is. My friends' photo but they could not identify it.
Thanks.

An odd one! Are the round things buds, seed pods, or? And does it have any leaves?

Please ask your friend to step back and take a picture of the entire plant. Also, where is the plant growing?

What a cool looking plant. I could swear (if I did) that there was a picture of it or something very similar that was posted on NGA fairly recently. Or maybe I wasn't wearing my glasses. Anyway would love to know what it is.

I was thinking the same thing. Either that plant or something very similar.

My mind is like a steel trap. Once something goes in, it never comes out. Sighing!
