Newly planted Kelm's hardy gardenia are turning yellow... what is causing this?

Maybe to much water or need some iron. Blood meal is good.
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.

Yellow leaves are a generic symptom with several possible causes. Impossible to tell without more information, including a good photo that shows the entire plant.

Ok... it has cooled off this week and the gardenias have turned back to their normal green. The hot weather must have caused the problem.
