Hi, I had a Valentines bouquet early this year. After the various flowers had dried out a stem with waxy leaves remained alive so I simply stuck it in a pot of soil and 6 months later it has grown to this. It spent the summer in the sun and occasionally yielded small flowers...

@swans500 yours looks like ornamental cabbage. try crush few leaves, does it smell of cabbage?
if yes, try grow some out door. Autumn cold may induce color in some varieties.
