Wildflowers forum: mutant wildflower?

We planted a row of wildflower's last fall, and a few have grown to a rather abnormal size. I don't mind the stature, they are beautiful, and I am curious if this is unusual. Thank You!

Your plant looks like Cosmos which typically grow quite tall. It seems to be very happy.
